摘要:

针对海杂波背景下的雷达弱小目标检测问题,提出基于相关性的雷达海面弱目标检测技术。通过分析幅度拖尾的空间分布特性估计目标所在距离单元,滤除所估计的目标距离单元数据以确定杂波子空间,根据去拖尾的杂波子空间计算正交投影矩阵实现杂波抑制。随后,根据去拖尾正交投影空间下数据协方差矩阵的最大特征值的分布变化,选用最大特征值作为检验统计量实现目标检测。IPIX(intelligent pixel processing X-band)雷达、雷达对海探测数据共享计划的实测数据验证结果表明:所提方法优于单元平均恒虚警率、去拖尾正交投影、最大特征值以及正交投影+最大特征值检测算法,证明了所提方法具有较好的鲁棒性。

Abstract:

To address the problem of detecting weak radar targets in the presence of sea clutter, a radar sea surface weak target detection technology based on correlation is proposed. The spatial distribution characteristics of amplitude tails is proposed to estimate the range cell where the target is located, filters out the estimated target range cell data to define the clutter subspace, and then calculates an orthogonal projection matrix based on the de-tailed clutter subspace to achieve clutter suppression. Subsequently, according to the distribution changes of the largest eigenvalue of the covariance matrix in the de-tailed orthogonal projection space, the largest eigenvalue is selected as the test statistic for target detection. The results of real data validation from IPIX (intelligent pixel processing X-band) radar and sea-detecting radar data-sharing program demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms cell averaging constant false alarm rate, de-tailed orthogonal projection, maximum eigenvalue and the combination of orthogonal projection and max eigenvalue detection algorithms. It is proven that the proposed algorithm exhibits good robustness.
