Abstract: For a class of uncertain time-varying delay Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy systems with actuator failures, the problem of designing a fuzzy static output feedback guaranteed cost reliable controller is considered via the parallel-distributed compensation(PDC) approach.By defining a delay dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, the sufficient condition for the existence of the fuzzy static output feedback guaranteed cost reliable controller is presented in terms of linear matrix inequality(LMI),which not only guarantees the stability of the close-loop system for the normal and actuator fault cases, but also provides the upper bounds on the guaranteed cost function for the normal case is less than the upper bounds on the guaranteed cost function for actuator fault cases. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
