Abstract:

The sea corner reflector is one of the main decoy jamming method of anti-ship missile. The study on polarimetric scattering characteristics of sea corner reflectors has important military application value. The polarimetric rotation domain interpretation method can effectively mine the abundant scattering information contained in the scattering diversity of targets. The polarimetric correlation pattern interpretation tool is used to analyze the characteristics difference of canonical trihedral and dihedral structures in the polarimetric rotation domain. On this basis, the octahedral and icosahedral corner reflectors are taken as the research objects, and the variations of the polarimetric rotation domain characteristics of the corner reflectors with the azimuth, frequency and sea condition level are analyzed. The variation law of the polarimetric rotation domain characteristics for the sea corner reflector is revealed. Through feature extraction, it is found that the mean value of correlation, standard deviation of correlation, minimum correlation, correlation contrast and correlation anisotropy are sensitive to the polarimetric scattering difference between the ship target and the cornet reflector. The research work provides key technical support for the suppression and identification of corner reflector interference.
