Abstract:

In order to improve the bit error rate performance of multiple input multiple output difference chaotic shift keying (MIMO-DCSK) system, an M-ary hybrid modulation MIMO-DCSK (MHM-MIMO-DCSK) is proposed. Firstly, multi bit information in one frame is split and modulated by chaotic spread spectrum code and index code respectively to achieve higher transmission efficiency. Secondly, the receiver uses the quasi-orthogonal property of chaotic sequence to eliminate interference of multi antenna and multi channel. Finally, the results of correlation calculation at each receiving antenna are superimposed by the equal gain combining algorithm, so as to obtain the full diversity gain of multi-path MIMO system without channel state information. Simulation results show that the proposed MHM-MIMO-DCSK has better BER performance than the existing M-ary MIMO-DCSK, especially in the case of high-order modulation.
