Abstract:

In view of the drawbacks of inter signal interference and high bit error rate (BER) in permutation correlated shift keying(PCSK), quadrature noise reduction correlation delay shift keying (QNR-CDSK) communication scheme is proposed. In this scheme, a new orthogonal chaotic signal generator is designed to generate two strictly orthogonal chaotic signals as reference signals and information bearing signals, which are duplicated P times and then superimposed and transmitted, so as to eliminate the interference between signals. At the receiver, a moving average filter is used to filter the received signal, which reduces the BER of the system. The BER of the system is derived in the additive white Gaussian noise channel and Rayleigh fading channel, and Monte Carlo simulation is carried out to verify the performance. The results show that the system has better BER performance than PCSK system, which is conducive to the application of chaotic communication in practical engineering.

Key words: permutation correlated shift keying, orthogonal signal, moving average filtering, Rayleigh channel, bit error rate (BER) performance
