Abstract:

Aiming at the problem of coherent integration for waveform-agile radars, an algorithm based on non-standard Keystone transform (KT) is proposed. The basic idea is using KT to eliminate the target range migration, and then use fast Fourier transform for coherent integration. Considering that the standard KT needs to search for fuzzy numbers, a non-standard KT without searching for fuzzy numbers is designed, based on the concept of scale estimation (SE). SE is realized by Mellin transform. In addition, the agile waveforms of linear frequency modulation are designed through carrying the time-scaling operation on the reference waveform. The simulation results show that when the signal to noise ratio is greater than -2 dB, the proposed non-standard KT can effectively correct target range migration. The designed waveforms have higher compatibility with the coherent radar and can suppress target range side-lobe without widening the main-lobe at the same time.
