Abstract:

The mainlobe distance deceptive jamming will have a great impact on the estimation accuracy of real targets and the accuracy of target tracking. Based on element pulse coding-multiple input multiple output (EPC-MIMO) radar, an algorithm for suppressing mainlobe range deception jamming is proposed when the pulse repetition frequency (PRF) of mainlobe range deception jamming is greater than or equal to the repetition frequency of two transmitted pulses. In the mainlobe range jamming suppression algorithm of EPC-MIMO radar, firstly, the linear frequency modulation (LFM) signal is used to measure and correct the amplitude and phase errors of the transmitter receiver channel in the radar system. Secondly, by analyzing the pulse signal difference between the true and false targets in the radar echo, the echo of EPC-MIMO radar is matched and separated, so as to obtain the law of repeater jamming; Finally, the radar echo is screened to suppress false targets. Through the analysis of radar measured data, it is verified that this method can effectively solve the problem of mainlobe range deception jamming suppression and improve the anti-jamming performance of radar in complex electromagnetic environment.

Key words: mainlobe range deceptive jamming, element pulse coding multiple input multiple output (EPC-MIMO) radar, amplitude and phase error correction of radar transmit receive channel signal
