Abstract:

In response to the increasing complexity and unpredictable functional emergence brought about by the trend of engineering system systematization, unmanned and intelligent development, as well as the problem of traditional reliability centered six performance indicators that are difficult to fully apply and lack comprehensive evaluation indicators at the system level, drawing on the strategy of adapting to uncertainty in the natural world, and analyzing the basic characteristics of adaptability in natural organic systems, a rule-based adaptive construction framework for complex engineering systems is proposed, which includes three levels, micro, meso, and macro. Based on this framework, qualitative and quantitative evaluation methods for adaptive indicators are explored. This provides a methodological reference for guiding the design and evaluation of complex engineering systems.

Key words: complex engineering system-of-systems (SoS), adaptability, emergence, rule, reliability
