Abstract:

A evaluation method based on near-field scanning is proposed to solve the complex intrasystem and intersystem electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) problem caused by the radio frequency payload of the mobile communication satellite, and the development needs in the experiment verification and evaluation of non-special EMC caused by the characteristics of batch production. Aiming at the radiation effect of satellite payload, the cylindrical near-field scanning method is used to obtain the near-field radiation characteristics of the load for the intrasystem EMC analysis in the system. And the intersystem EMC evaluation of the satellite constellation is analyzed based on the near to far field transformations which obtains the far field radiation characteristics. The probe compensation and scanning step increasing methods are also proposed to improve the test precision and efficiency. The effectiveness is proved by the simulation and test validation. The method has been used in evaluating the intrasystem and intersystem EMC, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in engineering applycation.
