Research on open architecture of new-generation unmanned aerial vehicles for the digital-intelligent era

Abstract:

Addressing the urgent demand for open architectures in the development of unmanned intelligent vehicle in the digital intelligence era, a hierarchical-decoupling-service-oriented-intelligence-enabled (DSI) architectural design method is proposed. A reference architecture and standard system comprising “1 system architecture, 2 domain architectures, and 1 standard system” is designed to guide the evolution of unmanned intelligent vehicle from “add-on” intelligence to “native” intelligence. At the same time, practical application of the architectural technology is carried out under laboratory conditions. The results verify that under the proposed “1+2+1” architecture and standard system, the development cycle of intelligent capabilities is reduced from one month to one week, the enablement effect outperforms that of traditional architectures, and the cost of core systems is reduced by over 50%. Finally, the DSI architectural design method is summarized and future directions are discussed, providing methodological and path references for the future development of open-architecture-based unmanned intelligent vehicle.
