Differential game-based decentralized cooperative guidance for missile cluster under switching topologies

Abstract:

In view of the communication topology switch problem in missile clusters during combats, a decentralized cooperative guidance law for missile cluster under switching topologies is developed. A virtual leader group is designed based on virtual leader-follower framework, and decentralization is achieved by the virtual leader cluster generating a virtual consensus state trajectory. Based on the error tracking system of virtual consensus state trajectory, differential game theory is applied. And the critic network is utilized to derive the optimal guidance strategy online by using adaptive dynamic programming technique. Then, a method for dynamically updating the parameters of the critic network’s weight update law based on solving linear matrix inequality (LMI) is proposed, which is designed to accommodate topology switching and relax the average dwell time constraints on switching signals. System stability is proven by using multiple Lyapunov functions. Finally, simulations are conducted to substantiate the validity of the proposed scheme.
