Abstract:

Based on Lyapunov-Krasovskii (L-K) functional method, by using linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique and adaptive control approach, a decentralized robust adaptive model reference controller is designed for a class of uncertain large-scale systems with time-varying delay. The rigorous matching condition which is generally used in model reference control is not required in the delayindependent control design and the local state feedback gains are given by LMI, which gives facilities for searching its numerical solution on computer and optimizing the performance specifications. In order to avoid the problem of persistent increasing of adaptive parameters, the dead-zone adaptive algorithm is proposed. Finally, a simulation example is given to show the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
