Abstract:

Aiming at the issue of detection and suppression of monostatic direct-wave deceptive jamming for synthetic aperture radar (SAR), a detection and suppression approach based on displace phase center antenna (DPCA) is proposed. A model of jamming signal in image domain is established under DPCA condition. The analysis shows that there is only space-variant phase offset and position offset in the master and slave images. Furthermore, image degradation model is also introduced to estimate and suppress deceptive jamming in master image based on DPCA detection. Simulations on point array and extended target verify both the model derived and the proposed deceptive jamming estimation and suppression algorithm. The proposed algorithm causes little information loss of scene covered by decoy target. It works for both main-lobe and side-lobe monostatic ideal direct-wave deceptive jamming.
