New intra-pulse feature extraction approach of radar emitter signals

Abstract: A new approach called Holder coefficient approach is proposed to extract features from radar emitter signals.The approach comes from the inequality of Holder type.The definition of Holder coefficient is given.The Holder coefficient feature extraction algorithm is described.The experiments show the good characteristics of the approach.It indicates that resemblance coefficient approach is just one case of Holder coefficient approach.Six typical radar emitter signals are chosen to be made the experiment of Holder feature extraction and classification recognition.The results of the experiment show that not only high accurate recognition rate can be achieved while Holder coefficient takes different types,which provides several useful choices for engineering,but also higher accurate recognition rate can be obtained when Holder coefficient takes the type not resemblance coefficient.
