Abstract: Conventional polarimetric interferometry SAR image coregistration methods usually use the data of one polarimetric channel only, which is not very accurate. In order to solve this problem,a new coregistraion method making use of Cameron’s coherent target decomposition theory is proposed. This method makes use of full polarimetric interferometry SAR data which contains very abundant information to perform coregistration. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the PolInSAR data of Tien Shan area acquired by SIR-C,and it is verified that the proposed algorithm is more accurate and more robust. It is beneficial for the following data processing.
