Abstract:

The main-beam jamming is located in the same width as the target, which greatly reduces the detection and tracking performance of the radar. It is also difficult to suppress it at the beam level. The smeared spectrum (SMSP) jamming from the main beam can cover the target signal in the time and frequency domain and form multiple false targets with deception effect in the airspace. To solve this problem, a space-time joint suppression method is proposed based on frequency diverse array multiple-input and multiple-output radar, Firstly, the blind source separation algorithm is used to separate the target and the jamming in different channels. After obtaining the target range information, range-angle joint beamforming is carried out to improve the input signal to jamming and noise ratio. This method can effectively suppress the main-beam SMSP jamming without a prior range information of the target, which has good applicability. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
