Abstract: The radar cross section(RCS) and high resolution range profile(HRRP) of space targets measured in a chamber or calculated by electromagnetic software differ greatly from the actual measured data because the radar echoes are modulated by the high-speed and micro-motion of space targets.Due to the actual measuring data of space targets being difficult to be acquired,a novel method which generates dynamic RCS and HRRP based on static data is presented. In the method, the orbit of targets and the radar coordinates and parameters are put to calculate attitude and dynamic parameters of targets in line of sight(LOS).And then the dynamic data are generated according to the electromagnetic modulation model of the movement of targets including motion at high speed, spin, precession on electromagnetic wave. The realizable steps are given. The experiments verify the validity of this method.
