Abstract:

Aiming at the problems of broken track caused by radar Doppler blind zone, low detection probability, weak and slow target, and other factors, a broken track association method combining radar and photoelectric equipment is proposed. Firstly, the mean and covariance matrix of the coordinate transformation error of radar and photoelectric equipment measurement information after spatial coordinate transformation are derived because of the change of error distribution of each sensor. Secondly, the broken track is re-correlated by means of the motion characteristics of the track and the measurement information of heterologous sensor are both considered in the proposed multidimensional allocation algorithm. Finally, a state model set is constructed based on the association results of the broken track, and is introduced into the heterogeneous fusion sequential filtering module to achieve tracking of reconnection track. The proposed method can significantly improve track stability and tracking accuracy.

Key words: radar, photoelectric equipment, broken track association, measurement error, heterogeneous fusion sequential filtering algorithm
