Abstract:

The detection, tracking and recognition performance of monopulse radar will be severely degraded due to the mainlobe cover jamming. How to estimate the target angle in this scene is a classic problem faced by monopulse radar. In order to solve this problem, a target angle estimation algorithm for monopulse radar is proposed. The algorithm uses residual matrix F-norm minimization criterion to extract target echo signal and estimate the direction of the target echo and jamming. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more accurate and stable than the mainlobe jamming cancellation (MJC) algorithm.
