Abstract:

In order to highlight the tracking performance of key targets in multiple targets, the algorithm of model establishment of antenna selection and its solution based on modified fair multi-start local search is proposed for antenna selection of distributed multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar under the multitask of target detection and tracking. On the premise of limiting the target detection performance, tracking performance and system resources, the optimization model is established with the minimum set of antennas as the cost function. In order to discuss the different performance indexes of the system in the same framework, the parameter preprocessing is carried out, and the position estimation error bounds of targets which represent the performance of target tracking are non-dimensionalized and normalized. The weight factors of the target importance and task importance are introduced to get the parameter of the comprehensive performance of the system. Traverse each initial antennas set, the antenna that contribute the most to the system is added step by step, and finally complete the selection of antennas set. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide the performance that near exhaustive algorithm and effectively reduce the system computation.
