Joint policy optimization of condition-based maintenance and spare ordering considering competing failure

摘要:

针对单部件系统提出考虑竞争失效的视情维修和备件订购联合策略, 采用控制限维修策略和动态随机冲击阈值机制判别是否需要进行预防性维修(preventive maintenance, PM)或故障更换(corrective replacement, CR), 当退化达到PM阈值时执行不完美维修(imperfect maintenance, IPM), 且经有限次IPM后对系统进行预防性更换(preventive replacement, PR)。同时, 考虑IPM和随机冲击对退化量和退化率的影响, 进而构建基于维纳过程的多阶段退化模型; 引入备件订购阈值, 根据冲击幅值与冲击阈值的关系决定是否正常订购备件。分析更新事件并利用更新报酬理论建立最小化平均费用的联合策略优化模型, 设计离散事件仿真算法求解, 最后通过实例验证了所提模型和算法的有效性。

Abstract:

For single-component system, the joint policy of condition-based maintenance and spare ordering considering the competitive failure is proposed. The control limit maintenance policy and the dynamic random shock threshold mechanism are adopted to determine whether there is preventive maintenance (PM) or corrective replacement (CR). When the system degradation reaches the PM threshold, imperfect maintenance (IPM) is performed. And once the maximal number of IPM is met preventive replacement (PR) is performed. The influence of IPM and random shocks on the degradation level and degradation rate is introduced into the Wiener-based multi-stage degradation model. The spare ordering threshold is introduced, and the relationship between the random shocks amplitude and the shocks threshold is used to decide whether to order a spare. All possible renewal events are analyzed and the expected mean cost rate is minimized by using the renewal award theorem. The discrete event simulation algorithm is designed and the effectiveness of the proposed joint policy optimization model and the algorithm are verified by a numerical example.
