Abstract:

Due to the influence of transient interference and the requirement of simultaneous air and sea detection, under the condition of long coherent integration time, the effective sampling points of the skywave over-the-horizon radar (OTHR) echo signal are often defective and non-uniform, seriously affecting the performance of target detection. To solve this problem, an OTHR spectrum reconstruction method is proposed based on compressed sensing. Firstly, the sparse model of OTHR frequency domain signal is established. Secondly, a fast adaptive complex approximate message passing (FACAMP) algorithm is proposed and its implementation steps are given. Finally, the OTHR spectrum reconfiguration is implemented using FACAMP algorithm and the reconfiguration performance is analyzed. Compared with existing reconstruction algorithms, FACAMP algorithm has the advantages of high reconstruction accuracy, low computational complexity, adaptive parameter adjustment and retaining the Gaussian property of background noise. Both theoretical analysis and simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
