Abstract:

In order to improve the data rate and energy efficiency of permutation index differential chaos shift keying (DCSK), a high rate permutation index DCSK communication system is proposed. The system uses a permutation matrix to index the multi-ary information and carry a modulation bit. The transmitter replicates the reference signal P times as the information bearing signal, then transmits N more user information in each time slot through Hilbert transform, and cascades the signal to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system for orthogonal carrier modulation, which greatly improves the data transmission rate of the system. At the some time, the bit error rate (BER) expressions of the system are derived for Gaussian white noise channel and multipath Rayleigh fading channel, and the theoretical analysis and simulation results prove that the system has good characteristics of high speed and low BER compared with other permutation index type systems and better application prospects.
