Generalized SLM algorithm applied to reduce PAPR of multi-user MIMO systems

Abstract:

Aiming at the problem that the selective mapping (SLM) algorithm is not suitable for distributed users and the side information cannot be shared among users in multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) system, a generalized SLM algorithm for MU-MIMO system is proposed. The proposed algorithm solves a series of problems caused by the introduction of SLM by changing the object of phase rotation and preposing the phase rotation. At the same time, the peak to average power ratio (PAPR) performance of the system using the generalized SLM algorithm in the system with equal gain transmission beamforming is analyzed, and the effectiveness of the algorithm is verified. Simulation results also show that the algorithm can effectively reduce the PAPR of MU-MIMO system.
