Abstract:

An effective airspace planning model is established for the problem of alert patrols airspace planning in defensive counterair interception operations. Firstly, our forces' deployments and enemy aircrafts' threat direction are considered to determine the location of the interception line. Secondly, the relative angle, speed of enemy aircraft and distance between enemy and us are choosed to construct a threat assessment model to determine the direction of the airspace. Then, according to the interception tactics adopted, the position and quantity of the airspace are determined within the planned range of the airspace. Finally, combined with the upper and lower limits of the enemy aircrafts' possible altitude, the height setting range of the airspace is calculated, and then establish a complete alert patrol airspace planning model. The simulation results under different scenarios show the model is correct and effective.
