Abstract:

The application of narrowband inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR)imaging processing methods contributes to the precise detection of space group target. However, due to variations in the motion states of group target, the imaging results may exhibit significant blurring, thereby limiting the capability to detect targets within the group. To address the above problem, a scenario imaging and target detection method for space group target based on ISAR processing framework is presented. Initially, Chirplet components extracted from different range cells based on motion feature consistency association ensure the correspondence between the target and its components. Subsequently, by establishing a cost function, individual target velocity deblurring is achieved, providing effective estimation of target motion parameters. Finally, experimental results from numerical simulations prove the effectiveness of the proposed method and its enhancement for group target detection performance.
