Abstract:

Equipment engineering development is widely implemented model-based systems engineering (MBSE) mode. But due to the high threshold of modelling and the lack of collaboration mechanism, it is difficult to promote large-scale practicing. Therefore, product lifecycle management system is used as a service platform to research collaboration practical application for MBSE. Firstly, MBSE business process is proposed, which combining forward decomposition and design aggregation. Secondly, meta-models are designed to support cross-level collaborative design through meta-models-configuration definition-instance data. Thirdly, the method of digital model application service is proposed to reduce model application threshold for model users. Finally, complete product lifecycle management prototype development, and verify the applicability through the designing of spaceraft as a case. The conclusion shows that product lifecycle management system can support multiple types of roles to carry out collaborative design and simulation verification, and reduce the threshold of model application through the way of digital model service, which has strong application value.

Key words: model-based systems engineering (MBSE), product lifecycle management, co-design, model application service
