Abstract:

The flight test for airworthiness certification is a high-risk and high-cost important forensic activity to verify that the civil aircraft meets the design requirements, demonstrates the compliance with the airworthiness clauses, and forms the certification evidence. Defining and designing the test flight scenario of civil aircraft certification is a prerequisite for conducting airworthiness certification flight test. The design method and process of the certification test flight scenario based on the airworthiness compliance evidence link are then proposed. Taking "compliance evidence link" as the core, the logical and traceable airworthiness compliance evidence is planned. The model-based systems engineering (MBSE) method is introduced to realize the modeling of the process of constructing the compliance evidence link for the certification test flight scenario. In order to improve the operability, taking the airworthiness requirement "ground heading maneuverability" as a typical case, the process of requirement analysis, design, and requirement confirmation of the certification test flight scenario are demonstrated. The final designed certification test flight scenario can support the conduction of the civil aircraft airworthiness certification flight test.

Key words: model-based systems engineering (MBSE), compliance evidence link, civil aircraft airworthiness, certification test flight scenario
