Abstract:

To solve the problem that the existing methods are difficult to locate the broadband frequency hopping-time division multiple access (FH-TDMA) emitter network groups, a multi-station localization and network group division method using only direction of arrival (DOA) information is presented. Firstly, the signal received by each station is divided into several frequency bands by analog filter, and the signal is output to multiple channels by digital channelization method based on polyphase filtering. Then, the emitter locations of each time-slot are calculated by direct position determination (DPD) algorithm. Finally, the best emitter location results are obtained by density-based spatial clustering of applications with noise (DBSCAN) algorithm with different parameters, and then the network group is divided according to the improved K-means clustering algorithm based on prior information. The proposed method reduces the sampling rate and signal processing rate, and does not require strict time synchronization between stations. The results show that the proposed method can effectively estimate the number and location of emitters and the network group division state.
