Abstract:

Composite strikes broadly exist in practical fire assignment problems, and because of interdependent fire attack actions the distortions are unavoidable when fire assignment alternatives are evaluated. A fire assignment alternative is regarded as a set of multiple fire attack actions by introducing the concept of the set of actions, and then the complexity of composite strikes is revealed from the viewpoints of action-interdependences and the interdependences among the subsets of actions. Moreover, through modeling these two kinds of interdependences mathematically, we quantitatively analyze the influences of the composite strikes to the evaluations of fire assignment alternatives, and then propose the approaches and processes how to evaluate fire assignment alternatives in the situations of composite strikes. Finally, examples are taken to illustrate the feasibility of our approaches.
