Abstract:

Since the design of aircraft survivability is a tradeoff process of benefits and cost, a tradeoff model of aircraft survivability including aircraft susceptibility, vulnerability and aircraft combat capability is proposed. The survivability formula considering aircraft combat capability is deduced. Based on the calculation model of detection probability of the radar, hitting probability of the missile, killing probability of the fragment and combat capability of the aircraft, the tradeoff model is established, which takes the maximal aircraft survivability as the optimization objective, takes the weight as the constraints, and takes radar cross section (RCS), the mass of armor and the mass of airborne weapon as the design parameters, then the model is calculated by particle swarm optimization algorithm. Simulation results show that the method is effective and feasible, which can provide references for tradeoff design of aircraft survivability.
