Abstract:

A new description method for grey number by simulating man’s description and fusion to uncertainty information is represented, and the definition of a grey probability measurable set and its intersecting operation is proposed. The grey probability measurable set can describe the uncertainty with the features such as “poorinformation” and “clearboundary, unclearmeaning”, the intersecting operation reflects that as information increases, the “meaning” of the uncertainty that the grey probability measurable set represents becomes more certain and more proper. According to the example of topological localization of an autonomous mobile robot, it can be concluded that this structure can be well used to verify the effectiveness in the simutation of  man’s intelligence to uncertainty expression and reasoning.
