Abstract:

The problem of cooperative guidance of multiple missiles intercepting a target with higher maneuvering capability is investigated. The proposed cooperative guidance laws, based on the terminal sliding mode control scheme and the consensus protocol, ensure that both the line-of-sight (LOS) angular rates converge to zero and LOS angular converge to the desired angular in finite time. The cooperative guidance laws in LOS guarantee the consensus times to go for all the pursuers. The adaptive algorithm based on hyperbolic tangent function is proposed to decrease the switching gain of the control and the system chattering. The stability of the closed-loop control system is strictly proved using the Lyapunov theory. Numerical simulations are presented to further demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed cooperative guidance law.
