Generalized extended approximation algorithm for carrier estimation of burst signal

Abstract:

A carrier frequency offset estimation algorithm based on generalized extended approximation is proposed to solve the problem of the estimation accuracy, the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) threshold and the estimation range of the carrier frequency offset estimation algorithm. The algorithm does not need data support. It makes a reasonable division of the received signals in the frequency domain, and satisfies the interpolation condition at the node. The algorithm can achieve the best fitting in the unit field, and can effectively improve the accuracy of approximation in the whole domain. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a lower SNR threshold, higher estimation accuracy and optimal estimation range compared with other algorithms. The mathematical model of the algorithm is robust and low complexity, and it has very good performance and high use value.
