Efficient reporting approach of edge nodes' information in multi-PAN terahertz wireless personal area network

Abstract:

Aiming at the problems of normal channel time allocation period (N-CTAP) existing in cross personal area network (PAN) communication in terahertz wireless personal area network, such as the success rate of node communication affected by interference in data transmission of some conventional nodes, an efficient adaptive reporting approach of terahertz network (EARA-T) is proposed. In this method, the conventional node is subdivided into normal node and edge node, and the node type information is timely and efficiently reported to the piconet coordinator (PNC) of the pan before and after the node enters the network, so that PNC can take effective measures to reduce or even eliminate the impact of inter network interference on data transmission in time slot allocation. Compared with FDP protocol and FCP protocol, the reduction of information reporting control overhead and delay of the proposed method is no less than 14.1% and 3.7% respectively, and the success rate of information reporting is improved by 0.4%.
