X波段航海雷达海杂波中包含丰富的海浪信息,可用于遥测海浪。近年来,在基于X波段雷达利用阴影法估计有效波高的过程中,由于余补误差函数和指数项的存在,致使无法获得波陡的数值解析解,限制了阴影法反演有效波高的实际应用。根据实际测量条件将余补误差函数等近似处理,通过对近似方程求解,便可由照度概率直接获得海浪的波陡,进而反演海浪有效波高。利用福建平潭试验场采集的X波段图像进行验证,实验结果表明改进后的阴影方法可以代替现有阴影法去反演有效波高,二者反演结果的相关性系数为0.998 0,均方根误差为0.022 4 m,且运算时间由6.367 s缩短为0.088 s。

Abstract:

The sea clutter of X-band marine radar contains abundant wave information and can be used for remote wave measurement. In recent years, in the process of estimating significant wave height by shadow method based on X-band radar, due to the existence of complementary error function and exponential term, it is difficult to obtain the numerical analytic solution of wave steepness, which limits the application of shadow method in the inversion of significant wave height. The complementary error function is approximated according to the actual measurement conditions. Thus, by solving the approximate equation, the wave steepness of the ocean wave can be obtained directly from the illuminance probability, and the significant wave height of the ocean wave is retrieved. The X-band images collected from Pingtan Test site in Fujian Province are used for verification. Experimental results show that the improved shallow method can replace the existing shadow method to inversion significant wave height, the correlation coefficient of the two inversion results is 0.998 0, the root mean square error is 0.022 4 m, and the operation time is shortened from 6.367 s to 0.088 s.
