Optimal production run length for an unreliable production system based on product warranty policy

摘要: 不可靠生产系统会随机从可控制状态进入不可控制状态或随机发生故障,其产品在保修期内发生故障后,需免费小修.生产系统从零时刻持续生产到时刻t时,或在时间(0,t]内首次发生故障时,则一个生产周期结束.基于每个生产周期内单位产品的成本率最低,在不同条件下讨论了最优生产周期t*的存在性、范围及关于模型中参数的单调性.最后用数字实例说明了模型中的参数变化对生产周期内的决策变量和目标函数的影响.

Abstract: An unreliable production system is liable to turn the in-control state into the out-of-control state or lie failure randomly,in which its products are undertaked to give free minor repairs in the warranty perioid.The production cycle is over when the production system runs continuously until the fixed time t from zero time or the first failure occurs within(0,t].The optimal production run length which minimizes the cost of the unit item in every cycle is discussed.Under different conditions,the existence,bounds and monotonicity regarding the model parameters on the optimal production run length are discussed.Finally,numerical examples are carried out to show the effects of the model parameters' changes on the decision variable and objective function in a production cycle.
