摘要:

为了考察多径衰落、路径损耗和阴影衰落效应对无线网络性能的影响并对其进行准确模拟,建立了多径衰落和阴影衰落的数学和仿真模型,设计了阴影衰落效应的计算方法,优化了路径损耗指数的使用。并以OPNET软件为仿真平台进行了建模和仿真实验,仿真结果从数值上表现了多径衰落、路径损耗等效应对采用IEEE 802.11a/b/g系列标准的无线网络的吞吐率和时延等性能的具体影响,增强了无线网络仿真的准确性和合理性。同时,新模型的加入也提升了仿真平台的功能。

Abstract:

To explore and simulate the impact of multipath fading, pathloss, and shadowing fading on wireless networks, mathematical and simulation models for fading and shadowing are proposed, a method to calculate the shadowing effect is designed, and the utilization of the pathloss exponent is optimized. Moreover, modeling and simulation are done with OPNET. Simulation results quantitatively show the impact of fading, pathloss, and shadowing on the performance of IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless networks. Thus, simulation of wireless networks becomes more accurate and reasonable. Simultaneously, the used simulation platform is also improved by integrating new models.
