深空通信中喷泉码技术研究

Study on the fountain codes technology in deep space communications

摘要: 深空通信时延长、误码率和丢包率大、上下行链路带宽不对称和链路易中断等特点,决定了编译码技术成为深空通信中的一个难点问题。介绍了喷泉码的基本概念和特点,分析了喷泉码的全选问题、阶的分布问题和译码算法以及LDPC译码算法的性能等问题,提出了在深空通信中采用内码为LDPC码、外码为喷泉码的级联码方式,分析了该级联码的性能。结果表明,该码具有较好的性能以及与码长成线性关系的译码复杂度,能够满足深空通信对于信息传输可靠性的要求,满足通信质量要求,在深空通信中有很大的应用潜力。

Abstract: The characteristics of long delay,great error rate and packet loss,asymmetric bandwidth between uplink and downlink and links easily interrupted in deep space communications determine that the technology of encoding and decoding is a difficulty in deep space communications.The basic concept and characteristic of fountain codes are introduced,and the question of full-selected,degree distribution and the decoding algorithm of fountain codes and the performance of decoding algorithm of LDPC are analyzed.On the basis of these analyses,the concatenated codes of LDPC codes as the inner codes and fountain codes as the outer codes are proposed to use in deep space communications.Finally,the result of the cascaded codes having good performance and comparatively simple decoding complexity is obtained by analyzing the performance of the concatenated codes.The concatenated codes can satisfy the reliability requirements of information transmission in deep space communications and the quality of communication and have great potential applications in deep space communications.
