Wind turbine clutter suppression method based on reference signal correction for passive radar

摘要:

针对外源雷达风轮机杂波(wind turbine clutter, WTC)抑制需要, 首先建立了风轮机对辐射信号的调制模型。然后, 研究了风轮机叶片调制效应与雷达发射信号周期性结构在距离多普勒谱(range Doppler, RD)上的相似性, 从而从周期性成分抑制角度出发, 提出了在匹配滤波处理时利用修正后的参考信号进行扩展多普勒杂波抑制的方法。最后,通过理论和仿真实验对该方法进行分析验证后, 采用外源雷达风轮机实测数据进行了分析。实验结果表明, 所提方法不仅可以提高WTC抑制度, 还具有计算效率高、资源占用少等优点, 相关优势已在自行研制的数字电视外源雷达实测数据中得到了验证。

Abstract:

Aiming at the needs of wind turbine clutter (WTC) suppression in passive radar, the modulation model of the wind turbine acting on the radiation signal is built firstly. Secondly, the similar characteristics between the modulation effect of the wind turbine blade and the periodic structure of the radar emission signal on the range Doppler (RD) spectrum is studied. Thirdly, based on the perspective of periodic component suppression, this paper proposes a new method to suppress the extended Doppler clutter in matched filter processing with the modified reference signal. Finally, simulation test and experimental data are used to analysis verify the proposed algorithm along mith measured data of wind turbine based on passive radar. It shows that this method can improve the effect of WTC suppression, and it has high computational efficiency and less resource occupation. In addition, this method has been verified with the experiment data of self-developed digital television based on passive radar.
