Abstract:

The offboard active decoy is one of the important jamming methods to confront active radar guided anti-ship missiles. However, it has space-time limitations of short jamming response time but high jamming situation requirements. To solve this problem, based on the unmanned boat platorm, a combined jamming type of multiple offboard active decoy is proposed to enhance the jamming effectiveness through unmanned clustering in this paper. Firstly, based on the angle measurement principle of the monopulse radar on the anti-ship missile seeker, this paper derived the indicated angle of the radar seeker under the multi-decoy jamming from the signal level. Secondly, the critical jamming conditions for the effective jamming effect of multiple combined decoys are analyzed at the situational level. Then, combining the jamming signal and the critical situation, we propose a probabilistic inference based jamming effectiveness assessment method for multiple offboard active decoys. Finally, the improvement of multiple decoys on jamming effect and the feasibility of the assessment method are verified through simulation and numerical analysis, which provides theoretical support for clustered jamming of offboard active decoys.

Key words: multiple offboard active decoys, unmanned surface vehicle, angle deception, combined jamming, interference effectiveness assessment
