Carrier frequency estimation algorithm of data link signal in high dynamic environment

Abstract:

Aiming at the carrier synchronization problem of Link16 data link signal in high dynamic environment, a Doppler frequency estimation algorithm based on the combination of adjacent symbol phase difference and two-step frequency estimation is designed. The algorithm introduces a pilot-inserted data structure, and then takes the spoke of the received signal on this basis, removes the first-order frequency offset with the help of the phase difference of the adjacent symbol bits, and finally sums the observation sequence to obtain the estimated value of the rate of change. The first order Doppler frequency offset estimation is completed by combining fast Fourier transform and autocorrelation. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm eliminates the influence of Doppler rate of change on the basis of frequency offset estimation algorithm, and can achieve effective estimation of Doppler rate of change. Compared with other algorithms, the proposed algorithm further enhances the reliability of data link system transmission and the adaptability to dynamic environment, and has excellent performance in estimation accuracy.
