Abstract:
The overview framework of executable weapon equipment system-of-systems (WESoS) architecture is discussed, and the method of developing the executable architecture model is proposed. The proposed method includes three stages and six steps. The method takes the view artifacts such as overview description, system view artifact, operating activity diagram, operating sequence diagram and operating rules model as the foundation to develop the executable model through the mapping rules from view artifacts to simulating models. The simulating tool ExtendSim is employed as the executing environment of the executable model. The case study of a war-time ISR system-of-system demonstrates that the proposed method is feasible for the dynamic analysis of WESoS.
