Abstract:

For resolving the problem of energy-balancing, a new redeployment algorithm based on the virtual heat transfer is proposed, which is applied to large scale of wireless sensor networks with multi-layers. Firstly, the power law entropy model is built for the absolute moving method with the relationship between a sensor and sink node. Secondly, the entropy-balancing equation is established with the balanced relationship between neighbor sensors of power law entropy flow. Then the relative moving method is proposed with the weights of probability for selecting the referencing sensor from relative entropy. Consequently, the above two moving methods are fused to be iteration for entropybalancing in networks. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can attain the balancing of energy consumption, prevent the energy-hole, raise the network lifetime, and improve the node coverage.
