Abstract:
A multi-criteria decision making method based on dominance relation and variable precision rough set is proposed with respect to uncertain decision making problems. In this method, the dominance relation based rough set model is combined with the variable precision rough set (VPRS) model while the confidence threshold of a rule is regarded as the value of variable precision parameters. Firstly, the pairwise comparison table (PCT) of the whole alternativeis given. Then two kinds of rules are extracted from the partial PCT of the given PCT by using dominance relation and variable precision rough set theory. Finally, a score function is defined to sort all the alternatives and select the best one. The feasibility of the method is demonstrated by a simple illustrative example.
