Application of contrast source inversion algorithm in 2-D elastic wave imaging

Abstract:

Three useful algorithms, linear synthetic aperture focusing technique, nonlinear contrast source inversion (CSI) algorithm and CSI algorithm with multiplicative regularization (MR-CSI), are used to solve elastic wave inverse scattering problems. The experimental data are obtained using multi-bistatic measurements. The inversion results, which are presented and compared, verify that the MR-CSI algorithm is an accurate and effective algorithm for solving elastic wave inverse scattering problems.
