Abstract:

Determining the equipment portfolio configuration program that meets the capability needs is an important part of equipment demonstration. In order to simplify the analysis process and improve the quantitative level, this paper analyzes the capability requirements of the equipment system and clarifies the key capability requirements and their characteristics. Then, extended quality function deployment (Ex-QFD) method is proposed, which quantitatively analyzes the satisfaction of key capability requirements by constructing a quality house model and obtains a variety of alternative portfolio configurations. Finally, from the dimensions of redundancy, cost-effectiveness ratio and time of each alternative, further screening is done to obtain the optimal combination of configuration options. This method combines qualitative and quantitative analyses, and it can be used both as an analytical tool for obtaining equipment portfolio configurations from equipment capability requirements and as a means of evaluating whether equipment portfolio configurations are optimal, which can effectively improve the efficiency of resource allocation.

Key words: equipment system capability, system capability requirement, quality function deployment (QFD), optimized configuration
