Abstract:

The traditional interrupted sampling repeater jamming generates false targets with uniform distribution and similar amplitude when facing synthetic aperture radar (SAR), and their position lags behind the real target, which is easily recognized by the other party. In response to this drawback, the interrupted sampling jamming is improved, and a two-dimensional joint modulation interrupted sampling repeater jamming method for SAR is proposed. The proposed method controls sampling parameters such as interrupted sampling period, frequency shift modulation sequence, and frequency modulation slope modulation sequence to perform two-dimensional joint modulation repeater on the intercepted radar signal, generating multiple deceptive jamming false targets and suppressing jamming areas with non-uniform amplitude and distribution around the real target. Starting from the interrupted sampling repeater jamming, a mathematical model of the proposed method is established, and the jamming principle is provided, further analyzing the jamming performance of the proposed method. Simulation experimental result proves the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method, which can effectively counter SAR.
