Abstract:

Interrupted sampling repeater jamming generates multiple false targets after matched filtering, which affects radar detection performance. To address this issue, a method of using segmented mismatched filtering to resist interrupted sampling repeater jamming is proposed. This method fully utilizes the intermittency of interrupted sampling repeater jamming and the lag of jamming delay in the sampled radar signal segment, and filters out the jamming accompanying the signal through segmented pulse compression. However, when using segmented pulse compression techniques, it is necessary to first obtain the position of the target signal in the echo through matched filtering, which cannot distinguish between real target signals and false target jamming. Therefore, a phase encoding segmented mismatched filtering method is proposed to obtain the position of the target signal in the echo. The comprehensive mismatched filtering of the signal is completed through multi segment signal grouping coding mismatched filtering, achieving the cancellation of the true target pulse pressure peak, while the jamming signal cannot complete the cancellation of the pulse pressure peak due to its incompleteness. Therefore, based on the peak detection of the two, the true target signal and the jamming signal in the echo signal can be distinguished, and then segmented mismatched filtering of the true target signal can filter out the jamming signal accompanying it. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can filter out interrupted sampling repeater jamming carried in multiple real target echoes under the condition that the signal segmentation width is smaller than the jamming sampling width.
