Abstract:

To address the excessive preamble overhead in large-scale Internet of Things short data packet frame structures, a preamble-free detection method is proposed. This method combines M-ary spread spectrum with cyclic code shift keying and non-binary low density parity check code for short data packets. The theoretical expression for the blind detection algorithm of the short data packet system is introduced, and the accuracy of the theoretical model is validated through Monte Carlo simulations. Performance simulations are carried out across various parameters, demonstrating that the proposed blind detection algorithm effectively mitigates the effects of time and frequency offsets, achieves reliable detection at very low signal-to-noise ratio, and allows for a flexible selection of the M-ary spread spectrurl order to balance information carrying capacity with detection performance, in line with the application scenario.
